Induction of new UNVs - April 2007
From the 26th to the 27th of April 2007, the Uganda UN Volunteer Country Office in conjunction with Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) successfully carried out a series of induction activities for new UNVs who had been recruited to serve with OHCHR and UNHCR.
The fourteen (14) UNV volunteers (13 with OHCHR and 01 from UNHCR) underwent the two-day event that saw them inducted and briefed on various aspects ranging from the UNV Programme through Host Agency programmes to eventual signing of Initial Service Contracts and Pledges of Commitment to the UN System mandate...
